Default Quick Tire Question!!!

Looking to buy tires today or tomorrow, and I will either be getting the:

1) Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 295/35 18''

or the

2) Goodyear Eagle F1 SUPERCAR 295/35 18''

Obviously i want the Supercars which retail at i believe $520, but i found a deal on Ebay for 360 a tire

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Goody...Q5fAccessories

My question is, how much better are the Supercars than the gs-d3s? Durability is very important for me, will the Supercars be very durable?

Thanks!

I happen to like the F1 Supercar tires, but I'm not a racer and the car almost never sees rain or wet conditions. I think most will prescribe the GS-D3. Those are an excellent tire.

Discount Tire tracked down a pair of rear GSD3s for me, sometime last year. They have a huge network of stores throughout the US and I highly recommend them. As a general "tire" rule of thumb, OEM tires are almost never the best tires. While the supercar tires are certainly good, the GSD3s were developed much later and benefit from years of research. Since you already purchased your tires, this is just an FYI for the next time.

I would stay with the GYSC F-1 tires, but $500 seems high.
Do you have a Discount Tire near you? Look that their website.

They are $359 at Tire Rack and our local Discount Tire will usually match prices.
