slp vs hypertech thermostat?
any advantage 1 vs the other? hypertechs is 60.00 and the slp one is 25.00 i've used hypertechs thermostats before and had good luck? also, i tried to order this one on slponline part # 100228 and i couldn't because it was "below their minimum order of 25.00) ???

I bought my 160 stat at Summit Racing and have had no issues at all with it, It might even be the same one Hypertech uses...

The SLP part # you mentioned is the 04/later style Tstat, which won't fit your car.
Yes, 04-up Tstats are cheaper because they don't come pre-installed in a new housing like the 97-03 versions do.
