Air Pump Question.........

The air pump only activates for a brief period at start up. It pumps fresh air into the exhaust supposedly to help the CATs heat up quicker. I've taken mine off my 01 Z and by the time you remove all the additional piping that goes with it you find you can actually change the plugs without a subsequent visit to a mental health consultant.
