Default Any Ideas?

I got the emblem "inserts" (overlays) for the front and rear C5 emblems. I'm worried about them getting messed up during washing or rain. Anyone have any ideas on how to protect these? I was thinking about trying to have them clearcoated over or something.

From what I have heard from other forum members they stay on very well as long as you don't pick at them or use anything abrasive on them. The film used to make them is a 6 year film and shouldn't have any problems from the sun or water for at least that long.

Here are the specs on the film. LINK

Actually, its not the entire overlay I am worried about. It the yellow accents(chevy symbol and what not). If I rub my finger over them I can feel the edges. I don't want to be washing my car and have one of these little accents peel off.

Lance I've washed mine plenty. I'm gentle around the emblems and they are holding up perfectly without anything protecting them. If you want to wax over them it certainly wouldn't hurt anything.
