Default Quick question re; engine noise
Hey guys, having run my vert first time this year, I have always heard a whistling noise at idle and at times it idles at 850+ rpm. I have never heard another C5 idle so I don' know if it is normal operation? The whistle noise is steady, what is it?(air con.off) I have good sense of humour so have at her! Happy motoring, Rob

mine does the same thing at idle, sometimes its so loud people think its supercharged

Ok, thats good to know...it does sound normal. Just wondering what causes it. Happy it don't have to go to work on Monday I am thinking.
