Awesome Co-op you have there!
I go to the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, OH, but have a friend at UC who used to go to Embry-Riddle... I considered it too when I was a Senior in HS, but the $$$ scared me off! I wouldn't have minded being in Florida full time though

My family's always been a GM family, and I drove a '95 Saturn SW2 wagon as my first car. But it was getting old and had chewed up a transmission, so I had to look for a new car... in retrospect, probably should have just gone for a 'Vette in the first place, but I figured that a front-driver would be better for every day stuff, especially the occasional rough Cincy winter.

I love the RSX... I would love to keep it, but work for GM (full-time), drive GM. It's hard to beat the utility of a huge liftback trunk, sporty looks, a high-revving four banger, a silky smooth shifter, and 35MPG on the highway. Horsepower has a way of making people forget those things, though

Agreed! I've taken to writing rice tickets for all of the clapped out Civics with the parkbench spoiler. But, ya know, ya gotta keep the rear end planted when you're racing fo' pinks.

Then again, the first Fast and the Furious came out eight years ago, and the latest installment actually has some real cars (F-bomb Camaro, M5, GTO, Chevelle, GNX...). You'd think the HS crowd would get the hint.

I build a Camaro or 'Vette with the employee discount system once a week and dream. But for bang-for-the-buck... a pre-modded C5Z just cannot be beat.

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone!!

my whole family is from cincinnati!! i studied mechanical engineering at purdue university, and i do a lot of work for aerospace manufacturers. notice how many engineers own corvettes. they can fully repect the amount of engineering that was put into this car, and know its pretty much the best car out there for the money (not to mention the $100K+ cars it leaves in the dust ). welcome aboard fellow engineer!!

Exactly! I can't justify getting anything else really... the Corvette combines the best performance with the best price point. Besides, a mechanic friend of mine once told me, "People always remember you have a Corvette. The first thing out of their mouths will be, 'You still got your 'Vette?'"

Thanks for the warm wishes though! I already like it here And the fact that there's no actual post count means a lot to me. I tried posting on ClubRSX's forum site, but even though there's a few true gearheads on there, it's generally filled with high schoolers trying to figure out the best cold air intake and exhaust for their parent-bought vehicle.
