I was looking at the rear and I see that the rear is shifted to the drivers side.
The drivers side tire is barely passed the fender, but passenger side tire is tucked in.
See the pics attached.
I just had the dealer replace the drivers side axle seal. Did they assemble it wrong? thanks!
Why not give ECS a call ( Cream Ridge) NJ . Describe what was done to the car and what you have now noticed different in regards to the rear not being centered. Make sure you let us know what they say. Good luck.
Looks like a ton of negative camber in the right rear. The way these cars go together you can't shift the rear cradle at all... it only goes one way. Looks to me like when they were putting it back together they didn't allign it properly at all.

Makes sense to me - something for sure is not right.
while it was at dealership, they couldn't get it on the lift. so i told them to raise the ride height (DRM coilovers). The didn't align it because i'm getting that done soon when the r888's arrive. so you think the raising of the ride height messed up the alignment so much as to make the rear look shifted towards drivers side? weird. thanks for the all the info. will keep y'all posted...
Here I am thinking that I am the only one with this issue. My wife thinks I am crazy. I didn't personally have anything done to my car but I noticed one day the same thing. The offset is not as great but it is definately to the drivers side. It drives me insane.
i'm bringing it back to dealer tonight. They replaced the drivers side axle seal. That is the side that is sticking out. related? I looked at the axle and there is a gap between the axle and the diff on the drivers side (1/3 of an inch), but the passenger side axle is FLUSH against the diff. So I will ask them to look at it. Also since I got it back, I've gotten these codes, all related to drivers side (the side that is sticking out):
C1223 - LR Wheel Speed Sensor Input Signal is 0
C1227- LR Excessive Wheel Speed Variation
C1234 - LR Wheel Speed Circuit Open or Shorted
C1255 - EBTCM Internal Malfunction
C1223 - LR Wheel Speed Sensor Input Signal is 0
C1227- LR Excessive Wheel Speed Variation
C1234 - LR Wheel Speed Circuit Open or Shorted
C1255 - EBTCM Internal Malfunction
These are some of the codes my driver's side rear wheel hub assembly was throwing when it went bad.
any other thoughts as to why the wheel on drivers side is shifted past the fender?
It getting aligned/corner weighed next week.
Hope to bring it back to dealer tonight to get their thoughts and for them to push the drivers side axle all the way into the diff (that would have no effect on the wheel sticking out, right?).
thanks.
Hi There:
Seems to me your drivers side axle is not flush against the differential.
Both axles need to make contact with the differential. Probably did not mark the axle shaft before they removed it or they installed the wrong axle seal therefore not allowing the axle shaft to seat properly
