it needs the whole striping package, IMO...and I loved my pace car. just looks verrrry odd with only a few pieces of the decals and the funky wheels!

I've taken a fair amount of grief both from friends and strangers about driving a "purple" car. Here's a snap of my license plate....
The really interesting thing is the build sheet for this car calls the color Radar Blue. The window sticker refers to the color as "Pace Car Purple". So which one is right?
I love my Pace Car, which is a manual trans, BTW. All I can say with the full decal package, the yellow wheels and the yellow seats - it's certainly not the car you want to be driving if you're in the Witness Protection Program!

Here are a few pics of my 1998 coupe in Medium Purple Pearl (also known as Majestic Amythest for a while I have been told). 381 produced, one year only color. Of the 381, 148 were verts. I would love to know how to find the breakout of interior colors. My dad and I each have a 98 in MPP with Lt. Oak interior. Of the other MPP cars I have seen in person (4 total) all have had black or grey interior.
Mine has the original WW's on it that have been powder coated gun metal grey.

I have a 98 pace car with the decals removed (by the dealer when it was new). The dealer removed the decals, chromed over the original yellow wheels and put in black leather seats. I was putting it back and hit a brick wall in my head of whether to put the decals on or not. I need to finish it all the way, or take the yellow wheels off and yellow seats back out because it just looks too weird right now. I'll try and post pics.
