This may seem like a strange question, but does this material have any smell to it? I have allergy problems, and the last thing I need is to put something in the car that would cause problems. I like the fact that this stuff is taped rather than glued.
k got money in hand. Would like to put in my order for a '98 Coupe
Anyone wanting to pre-place their order can call me at the shop at 615-907-8125, or can pay via Paypal. Our Paypal address is sales@madvette motorsports .com. Connect the full address... I don't like putting the full email address so we can avoid spam. The total cost is $110 shipped, and $119 shipped if you want me to include tape.

No, there is no noticeable smell to the material. I use tape to keep the glue smell out, as well as for any kind of warranty work that may need to be done. It is much easier to untape, say, the door panel pieces, and get to the window motor, than it is to try and peel the material off in one piece once it has been glued to the door.
Ok. the C5 kit is now complete, pictures are being uploaded as we speak, and I am adding the C5 kit to the online store. Give me about 30 minutes, and then you can order away.
I will post the link to the kit in the online store. The instructions will be fully completed by tomorrow evening, just in time for the kits arriving to some of you by this weekend.
Thanks!!!
I stopped in to Dave's shop and met him. Great, honest straight forward person. He is making the kits himself, not just being a middle man for them. The material looks really good and he has put a lot of research into this. I look forward to getting the rest of the pieces installed.

So... from this I gather there is no Self-Stick adhesive backing on the material?

Correct, there is not. It needs to be taped down in order to be held in place. I didn't want to get a self stick application, or use glue because of the odors, the chance of the insulation not being condensation resistant (which it is... so no chance for mold or mildew ), and I wanted to keep the kit as light as possible.

I'm interested - do I order the same kit for a Vert? and how much additional tape do I need (or does it come with the kit)?
Thanks,
I have added a drop down option that allows you to note the model that you have, coupe, vert or FRC/Z06. You can order directly off the site by clicking here, and tape is not included with the kit, but can be added to the order for $9.
Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!!
Still working on getting the illustrated instructions completed... if you are going to the Corvette Forum cruise in this weekend at the Corvette Museum, let me know; I can deliver your kit for you.
