Default chrome logos & inserts

A couple lesson on don'ts, even for the small stuff
Don't get vinyl mirror inserts. The ones I received had discoloration in the C,O,R and TT. Go with the metal polished inserts!

Front and rear logo replacement with chrome logo's are nice but they are TWICE the height/thickness of the original OEM logos.

Good tips, but I do think that chrome logo looks very good.

pm sent about the front letters.....I think they still have the protective coating on them. That is probably what the distortion and the spot on certain letters are.

I went with polished stainless letters from CCA and chrome emblems from ambakershut on eBay. The front emblems require some forming to match the contour of the nose.

The emblems are substantial, exceptional quality.

I put the stainless on the rear of my '07 and they look great. I bought the plastic chrome looking one for the airbag and they don't quit fit. Whatever mold they used wasn't quite right

Going buy the inserts from CCA and got my chrome logs from ambakershut too. They are really sharp lookn' chrome, just wish they were a little thinner.

I bought SS inserts & within a month, I took them off. Every time washed the car, I would catch the mit, rag, sponge or whatever I was using on the letters sticking out. I ended up buying neopreme letters from MAM. They have rounded edges & fit flush. I think they look better than sticking out. I also have chrome emblems but old school style that are painted. The ones with the inserts look good but I have yet to find one for the water fall. So old school for me.....

BTW,
These letters are 3+ years old. & after a certain time, I have seen SS scratch from wax, washing ect........

Here are a couple of pics of my waterfall, front and rear....all in triple plated chrome and purchased from Corvette South. Each piece was $61.50.
