passenger window

My guess would be the relay has died. You can try the refurb or failing that a new door module.

Mine is doing the exact same thing. First it would work intermittently but now I can't get it to go down from either the driver side or passenger side controls. Thought it might be a fuse but can hear the control switch click so that means there is current to it and it must be a mechanical problem with whatever physically moves the window inside the door. That's what my mind has deduced so far since I'm hoping it's not elect and I can fix it myself. Not looking forward to taking the door panel off though.
Thanks for starting this thread. I'll watch to see what kind of info/advice comes with the replies. I see DeeGee replied. He seems very knowledgable about things in past threads and is good about giving advice. That means there is hope for us.

If you can tap on the motor and get it to work, then you might try bumping the window down a fraction of an inch from full up to keep it from sticking again.
I have had almost brand new regulator assemblies stick at random, so I knew it was not the motor being worn out or any problems with the drive cables.
Since the motor does not have any limit switches, but rather just stalls out against the stops, I think the motor and drive gears just get jammed. By bumping the motor in the reverse direction, you unload the motor and drive gears.
I think in some cases where tapping the motor did not free up the motor, some people have removed the motor cover and rotated it by hand to get it freed up. You do not pull the whole armature out, you just slip the cover off. Then it would work on its own. I have seen some cases where the motor brushes may have been worn, but I looked at mine and everything looked brand new. There was not debris from the brushes or wear on the rotor.
