Here is an unbiased opinion. Have a friend who has driven a Magnum SRT-8 (close to Charger) and my '99 coupe. He did like the Magnum but much prefers my Corvette. The 800 extra pounds of the Charger/Magnum seems to gobble up the 75 hp advantage of the big Hemi. My friend said the performance, handling - the overall driving experience of the Corvette - was much better then the Magnum. Other then hauling around four people, I'm sure you won't regret swapping the Charger for a 'vette.
The vette is more of a sports car BUT the only thing I havent seen mentioned is that the price seems a bit high?? Not a terrible price but I've seen better. I got my 03 Z06 in MINT shape for 23,000 with only a few more miles on it. So I think you can find a better deal but if it's the one you like then you wont be dissapointed

Ten seconds in the Vette vert and you will never look back at the Charger. Charger's are nice, don't get me wrong, but they are nice in a very ordinary way. A C5 Vette is an extraordinary sports car.
ALot of people forget about the HP to weight ratio...the newer Hemi's might boast bigger numbers these days..but also look at how much some of the newer cars weigh
I think the chargers look cool, but would still choose a C5 any day of the week over them.
The LSX motors can be modded and have great unlocked potential

Mmmm. Faster model say you? More get up and go? I'm betting that stock 'vette will be gone before the charger can get up. The vette is sure more fun to drive!
Plenty of options for that price with those miles. Make sure you find the right model. Check the options. You will want the 3.15 rear and the Z51 suspension.
