Default Vendor Caravaggio Corvettes

Hi, I was wondering what kind of experience forum members have had with "Caravaggio Corvettes".

I ordered a rear spoiler from them going on 4 weeks ago. They imediately charged my credit card when I placed the order and I have not heard from them since!

I have called them twice and left voice messages and sent them two emails none of which have been responded too.

It not what I expected from a forum vendor as all the others I have used have been excellent. I'm discouraged to the point that I'm getting ready to AMEX try to recover the payment and give up.

Anyone else have a bad experience with Caravaggio Corvettes?

They are the top of the line when it comes to Corvettes. Not only do you have to pay to play... but you also have to wait a while for most products. Just my $.02

I'm sure they'll come through.

Calm down. If you can afford their parts you can afford to wait.

they are in canada aaahhh, this means your shipment gets hung up in customs twice, export out of canada, import into usa. alot of the time it is the usa carrier/broker that holds things up due to paperwork. duties/tax due and such. john is usually outstanding in customer service, often answering the phone himself including weekends. hmmmm strange, good luck, you'll love your parts

All parts are made to order, all depends how many ahead of you, and yes... the border thing!

All parts are made to order. Expect about a 2-month (60) day waiting period.

Most custom body parts shop operate this way.

From what I've read about here on the forum, they are an excellent vendor. Sometimes it just takes longer to get good quality stuff.

I've heard the same thing from a couple friends. Good company, however order your parts well in advance as they take 60-90 days due to each part being built to order.

However, they should at least keep up with their VMs or emails. That's called "customer service".

I received my Caravaggio racing seats last Friday after waiting 3 1/2 months for them. John said they got held up in customs. Let me just this . . . It was well worth the wait!

I've ordered from John and Co. about four times. A little wait is worth the added quality. I've ordered leatherwork from three other forum vendors and NOBODY and I mean NOBODY can match their quality. In this case, you get what you pay for. By the way, I've had to wait on every custom order I've ever placed and I'll tell you, Caravaggio is far from the worst.

My spoiler was about two weeks but I bought it on a GB about three yrs. ago...

I have seats from John and the rear spoiler and canards. I new up front that the wait for each was at least several weeks. They were well worth the wait.
