Shoot we are number 4 here in Kansas. I wonder why? You have to drive for ever to get to the next city. Man my parents are awesome for having moved here.
And California at 48? In defense of some Calif. drivers I will say that (at least from the Bay area north) most of them know what the left lane is for and stay out of it. Sure can't say that for the drivers in Oregon.
What does laws and driving skill have to do with anything! California at 48 no way. I've seen women getting dressed on the freeway behind the wheel, people on cell phones while eating and cooking crack all at the same time. GMAC is wacked!

Knowledge of the traffic laws and skill in driving a vehicle are two entirely different things! In my case though, my state is ranked 3rd worst in the country for knowledge of the rules and that seems about right. Unfortunately, if you ranked us by skill, I suspect we'd end up at about the same place!

Shhh! Don't be telling other people or they will want to move here. It is nice to have some distance between towns that all look alike anymore. Wide open road is what driving a vette is all about.
You've got to be a good driver here in Calif. just to survive but yeah, there are those who have a cell in one hand, eating a burger in another and driving with their knee. It happens all over but you see so many more cars on the road here, you see more people doing those things.
I have live in Florida since 1968, and I think that we have a good share of this market covered. I have read previous post on bad drivers and the normal response to Florida is all the old drivers. This is a small per centage of the problem, the real problem is we end up with drivers from all over the country moving here and they drive as they did in the state that just left. Now you put all these different drivers together and this is what you get.
