Egged!!!
I was visiting my girlfriend today and when i left to go home i found someone had thrown an egg at my car, it landed where the rear glass meets the the roof and got all over the roof and the down on the hood. I rushed home witch is about 2 miles away and washed it off but it was to late it has etched the clear coat letting you see everywhere the egg had time to bake on the car in the hot texas sun. Makes me want to catch the SOB that did this but at the same time i dont cause i really dont want kill anyone right now! oh well its going to the bodyshop tomorrow and the said they will try and buff it but most likely it will need to be recleared.

Sorry to hear this. It aggravates me to see that people bust their asses for things in life and people ruin it like this. My neighbor had a party one night and i woke up to a spilt chinese box on the roof of my car. I ran upstairs and woke him up and made him clean it up right on the spot. I couldnt believe it. I hope the egg comes out of your paint. Jay

That really sucks....Hopefully it will buff out. My wife thinks Im paranoid about the car, but you really have to keep an eye out ........

Sorry to hear that. Hope it comes out. Don't know why people feel the need to do that type stuff. Who really carries extra eggs anyway just in case they come accross a nice car? Must have been a "crime of opportunity". Good luck with getting it back in the right condition.
