I have used these on motorcycle tires years ago. They do work but you still have to carry a compressor. If you buy the kit, get the one with the pistol grip installer. It works much better than the other one.
Was wondering if any member has used this product.
Thanks
Fred
On Corvette tires???? Nope! Wouldn't catch me doing that.
I have one like the one with the trigger handle. It worked ok at first for my truck tires, but after a few uses the plug with get stuck in the gun and wouldn't come out properly. I don't know if it was due to the plugs getting harder or something in the gun itself. I quit using it.

Haven't used that particular product. I bought a Victor kit from Wal-Mart when I was running non-runflats. Never had to use it, but nice to have it in the car just in case.

I guess I wasn't thinking of the "in a pinch" part of it. I do carry a small 12 volt compressor and a regular plug kit plus the AARP road service card. I think this cost me about $69 a year. The reason I choose their service, it was the only one I could find that will flatbed the car to wherever I want up to 100 miles. If I'm tooling around home and have an issue I can have it delieverd right to my own shop. I hope I never have to use it!
