I've heard that heat mixed with the pressure from your elbow sitting on it while driving loosens the glue/epoxy and causes it to "bubble"...

I've also heard that you can take a syringe and inject some upholstry glue/epoxy under the vinyl to re-adhear it to the door...

Just my $0.02

Any pics of this problem?

Not sure I have the right idea of what's happening.

Syringe needles that are used to administer insulin have very small diameters and can deliver a small acturate amount of glue/epoxy without leaving a "foot print" of the needle on the surface. On black interiors the pin hole mark can be removed by a polish touch up. When injecting a very small amount of glue make sure the needle is straight because if you try to angle the needle you can enlarge what could have been a pin hole mark. It may require additional injections depending on the glue delivery to the problem points. Be careful to use a glue that gives you some work time before it sets. A instant set glue is not good and a clear drying glue is a plus. Mine was a small area and it a straight line. As the problem area gets bigger I would have second thoughts above this type of repair without professional help. Before all else fails the original glue might be able to reactivate use heat. A hot iron with a protective cloth used on a limited exposure of the problem area.
