whats everyones opinion, just bought one all i hear is how rare the color is. to the best of my searching i think i read 1663 ever made in this color. post up pics if you got one. ill get some pics and throw em up!
I've always loved the color. I would jump on it if you find one! I did run across one when looking. Had to pass though, it was green outside with a red interior. What were they thinking? Christmas car?
If you pulled a Polo green next to a DBGM car, the color would look the same. They are the same except the flake in the paint.
Not quite true. We have had three green Corvettes in a row. `93 and `96 Polo Green and the 2000 Dark Bowling Green. DBGM is much darker than Polo. Look at "My Corvette Photos" - there are still some photos in there of the `96.
(Sorry, I was wrong, I removed those photos)

Reason: correction
I have a DBGM 2000 and I love it. It does get mistaken for black in some lighting situations but gorgeous in the sun. Its a nice surprise when you see the car looks good from far but then begins to sparkle from the metallic chips when you get closer. Now if only I could keep it clean.
Not to hijack the thread but does anyone know if it dificult to touch up this color(becuase of the metal flakes)? The previous owner and some steep looking inclines have made a few marks.
Depending on the year of your DBGM in 2000 there were 1663 made. Couldn't find the individual # for the vert and coupe. But if I remember right there were 777 verts in 2000.
In 2001 there were 443 coupes and 476 verts for a total of 919.

I totally agree with Duckvett, DBGM and Polo are not even close to the same color.
