They are expensive as for function, but if it is all about show they can be purchased in color.

Are the stainless steel hoses wrapped around regular hoses? Do they last longer than regular hoses? I know the silicone hoses are supposed to last longer and they do help the engine pop for show.

ajara84 -- What brand are those? They don't look like the LG or PFADT ones I've seen.

IMO adding colored ones really clutters up the engine bay. I've always thought of opening the hood like opening a box of jewelry. You want the engine to be the diamond... the focal point.

I think all of the hose kits vendors sell are mfg. by samco, but I could be wrong. Are your hoses brittle etc.?

My '01 Z06 w/ 83,xxx miles still has the original hoses. I just had them out when I put a stock radiator back in and all looked great... all were soft and pliable.

I think they look great but I don't show the car and not sure I would spend the $ on them.

I plan to put them on my car someday. I really like the looks, plus the silicone hoses are supposed to last longer.
I say go for it.

here's mine, got them from LG Motorsports - no complaints and they were a nice upgrade while i was switching everything out anyways. I think they'll last longer than the OEM hoses too, but only time will tell for that.
