Windshield Help..

OK this is driving me up the damn wall. I need to know if you guys know where in the hell I can get a windshiled for my 02 Z (y37 code). Mine has been on order from GM for 1.2 months, this sucks. The first on they tried to screw me on was for a 2000 coupe not the lighter Zo6 one. I will buy it from anywhere any time, just let me know.

They are using the thinner 4.8MM SHADED HUD windshield in the 2002 convertible also. I ended up with the thinner one when they replaced mine.

Will the thicker windshield from a standard c-5 fit on a z06?What is the cost difference?

I was told that the new replacement C5 HUD windshields are all the same since the 2002 Z06 came out with the HUD. The only heavier weight HUD windshields would be from old stock.

The light weight windshield shows: 43R008008 Shaded HUD 4.8 mm

My car goes in this week for front windshield replacement and the glass shop said it would only take two days to get the glass. If this changes I will report back to this thread.

Thanks guys the glass shop I am working with in GA says the dealer has them back ordered, this sucks. If anyone can help me find on in stock I'll buy it ASAP, before I listen to any more run around from this shop.
