[Z06] 4-Speed Z06...Help

4-Speed Z06...Help
I presume it's the syncros. When trying to put it in 3rd it makes an awful grinding noise and rough vibration. It goes into 4th ok but coming out it vibrates heavily. Where is the most cost effective synrco kit? I've heard of D&D Performance but anywhere else? They run $550 for the kit.
I've been reading around and this seems to be a common problem. I have 28K miles on my Z06. When the tranny comes out I might as well replace some other pieces like billet keys and bronze fork pads. Did the 03's get the steel fork? What else do you all recommend?
