Default Which Exhaust Plate

I am so confused. I dont think I want to spend the money on the Billet exhaust plate.
So where and what type of plate should I get. Some show a square plate, some show a plate that widens at the top and some show it widens at the bottom.

Which one fits best and looks best?

Mine was $40 shipped I think. I should have put it a little lower so it is more visable. When I pick up some more double sided tape it'll be an easy fix. I think my favorites are actually the cheapest square reflective ones that most people have. Sometimes they show up in the for sale section for only $10. Post a WTB thread in there.

That is the thing! I dont know which one I want. The expensive billet or the much less expensive stainless steel. One that expands towards the top or square. I looked on the forums for photos, but cant find any.

If anyone has photos of theirs, I would love to see.

I took the logo chrome and painted a tribute saying to a dear old friend.

I bought a plain car color one and added a chrome logo, I had the shiny stainless before, I prefer the color matching one. The billet ones are very nice though.

I've got a new billet plate that won't fit my exhaust. If you've got a stock exhaust I'll give you a deal on it. They cost $169.99 new I'll sell it for $110 shipped to lower 48

If you're interested PM me and I give you my paypal address.

Default Cost is relative............

The cost is relative to your taste / credit/ or budget. Since I have three C5es and I have always liked the bolt on characteristic.[IMG][/IMG] This one for my Z06.

And these for the FRCes[IMG][/IMG]

Both these chrome aluminum billet exhaust plates went for over $400 just two years ago in Ecklers. I bought one used(, well bolted on and then taken off because the guy went with a aftermarket catback and it won't fit) I paid $40 shipped during the winter. Then three (3)I got from that infamous auction also for $40 each plus shipping because the manufacturer went out of business. Sold one to one of our forum guys for $125 shipped I believe last fall '08. Point being is look go with what you like and hunt for the bargain.

Can you post a pic of this body color exhaust surround ? I believe I too would prefer that type of set up.

Sorry I just have the plate itself not the surround, although now that you menton it, that could be pretty nice.
