Default AC Gremlins

Ever since I've had my car I've had really cruddy AC performance. The car itself a dual zone 97, and the best way to describe the problem is that the car will blow cold air, but it is as though the blower does not blow nearly as strong as it should. Also, when I put it on the highest setting the air comes out of all the vent holes. I've recharged the system, and the low pressure line does get very cold. But I'm still struggling to stay cool in 90+deg heat. I read something a while back about the cause of this problem and fixes for it, but I have not been able to come across it. I'd appreciate any help

I bought my '99 coupe in January. My AC would only blow so-so cold but only when set at the coolest temps. Wasn't an issue at first but as the weather warmed up, could notice it. Thought maybe a simple freon charge. Just had it serviced. Turned out to be the asperator sensor had to be replaced.

Thank you, I'll check into that as well. However, I'm still wondering why on the highest blower setting I'm pushing air out of all the vents?!?

BTW I have no HVAC codes, wouldn't the aspirator sensor throw one??

A suction line controls your mode settings. When you lose the suction, normally cause by a hole in suction line, the air blows out of all vents or defroster. The line usually corrodes under the battery (caused by battery acid) but can be fairly easily fixed - do a search -

The suckion line I think your talking about runs up behind the intake manifold and hooks in to the manifold. I just learned that yesterday.
