Paint fix
I have a paint nick on the mirror. What does everyone use to fix those. I saw one product called something like paint doctor or just use the gm paint?

i use gm touchup paint, clean out the chip, apply very light coats 10-15min apart until its just above the level of the factory paint. let it cure for a week, then wetsand with 3000grit unitgrit paper. then polish it.

I do it with a very small brush. Filling the nick in with several light globs.

I used the "Blob Elimminator" with good results. Also, check this out, they are awesome!

It's more a bandaid fix than something permanent.

Eastwood................
Just follow the proceedures and over fill the chip with paint. I always have a quart of whatever color the car is around. Let it dry completely. Then use a drip file to shave down the excess.

Then wet sand & polish.
