I don't know why quite a few people bash the C6 owners or "REFUSE TO WAIVE AT C6's" I get plenty of waves from C5's all the time and as well as C4's,C3's. I wave at every vette I can and sometimes they clearly see me waving and don't do anything but I'm still gonna be the bigger person. In the case of the non waivers I think I must be doing something right that some don't like.

C3 owners do not think that C5 owners are really true Corvette enthuseasts..they see C5 owners as just a bunch of rich yuppies running around in Corvettes just because it is the "IN " thing to do or worse they think that many C5 & C6 owners just lease their cars and join clubs just to show them off. ( I would never wave at any C6 owner..I agree with the C3 owners when it comes to the C6 Vettes and many C5 people as well )
With early and high mileage C5s going for < $12K it doesn't take a Yuppie to buy one. And with the newest C5 more than 5 years old who the hell would lease one?

I pulled up to a C1 the last weekend and waved, made both the C1 owner and wife smile (wife didn’t know it was a Vet, he seemed happy - maybe because some newer Vet owner would not recognize C1 from the rear)
