So I got emailed back Monday. The rims were ordered early this week and are expected to be in late next week. They are then to be delivered promptly to me. Looks like I may not have them in time for 4th of July weekend, but I should have them shortly afterward.

After a recent HORRIBLE experience (with another vendor) which a lot of you read about on here I appreciate the guys at CCW even more. I managed to order a set a few years ago and coordinate delivery from a Navy ship on the other side of the earth with a 3-4 second sound delay.

And yes, that was your tax dollars hard at work

Even though I sold my 505As on the Z06, I still have the classics on the C4 track car and wouldn't have it any other way.

I've been updated that the rims should arrive to my vendor early next week, and then be sent to me. They may get to me before the weekend afterall...regardless, whether they do or don't, I'm doing my rim "homework" for now and looking into polishing tips and overall ownership tips so I can get the most out of these rims. If you have any suggestions for me I'm all ears.

I like Flitz, Mother's chrome polish and the new Mother's cone shaped "power cone", will work on those peticular wheels. You will love them.

You know I was going to suggest that, but didn't think anyone would know what it was. I recently polished mine w/Flitz & followed up w/some recently purchased Rejex. Both are great on exhaust tips, using the rejex last, to seal in the wax or polish.

Updated from my vendor: The rims have been received from CCW; the front tires have been fitted but they are still waiting on receiving the rear tires from Yokohama direct. Looks like it'll be a few more days before they send them to me, but they should be here soon. I am patiently awaiting their arrival and will post pics as soon as they are here.

Looking forward to seeing the pics as well....... I've been on the fence between the SP16's and T10's...... any suggestions or opinions? This forum is the best place to get advice.
