anyone on here know how to get more steering angle uot of the vette?
do any vendors sell some kind of spacers or something?
i know its a longshot asking on here, but figured it would be a good start.

Nice job. Geeting ready to paint mine also. Bought the kit yesterday and I cannot wait till I can get mine painted. Did you clear coat them afterwards?
so, she's at the body shop.
getting rid of the stupid wire mesh grills added on by previous owner, getting rid of bsm, and repaintin the whole damn thing a fresh coat of magnetic red.
jesus christ this is costing me!
what have you guys paid for a full repaint??
Drifting in the Vette. Ever do any 1/4 mile racing?
i drag raced like 5-6 times when i was 18-19 and just got bored with it really quickly. i'm 28 years old now.
this corvette is no beast either, so i feel like theres no point.
i have decided to not bother with longtubes/tune or maybe do it next year. (car has intake and full corsa exhaust now)
if i did that i would take a few passes.
how fast does the rear end fall apart once you bolt on drag radials?? haha
if i had 500whp or more i could see drag racing being a lil more entertaining
just noticed youre in jersey btw. live near etwon or atco?
im at etown the last wed of every month for the drift event. we hear the drag cars the whole time.
if youre interested in drifting lemme know and i can give you some pointers.

I wouldn't mind trying drinfing out. Probably wouldn't make a hobby of it though. I actually live in Garwood(my profile is out of date) in Union county. What is needed to do it?
The rear holds up pretty well. I was making 419rwhp and had probably about 50 really hard launches on slicks and no broken rears. I have 4.10s and a hardnened output shaft. One mistake and it can all go to crap but I'm pretty careful with my routine at the track.
Once the new motor is done I'll be making a lot more power. We will see how my rear holds with multiple 1.4x 60's.
nothing special is actuall necessary, but u get tossed around a lot or bruise ur knees holding urself in due to the stock seats being terrible pieces of garbage.
i live in boonton, NJ so etwon is like only an hour ride for me.
last wed of the month man. pm me if youre going.
you will need spare wheels with tires mounted to burn. one pair would easily last you an wed event though. preferably at least as wide as the stock rears. (some guys show up with haggard tiny wheels and tires due to tires being expensive)
car needs to pass tech like a drag car. no cage or anyhting necessary though. (until u are good enough to tandem)
mag red is such a good color.
i got my bike plastics painted a cheaper version of the real deal mag red
i talked to my painter at length about my car and was there a couple times during the process. from start to finish there are like a dozen coats to it. it's a 3 stage process which i took to mean 3 coats. haha, not the case.
