Good luck, I had a similar problem where the body guy wiped half the label with MEK. Part of the Vin is still there. I was unable to get a replacement from the dealer or even GM. The Chevy dealer body shop manager told me that they are impossible to get and when they replace a door after a collision they simply cut out the glass with the label on it and if the owner wonts they rivet the plate on a new door.
Do you have the chunk of fiberglass with the old stickers on it?
If you do, trim it so it lays flat and scan it into your computer. Then use software to adjust it and print it on adhesive backed vinyl. Once printed, laminate over the top to protect it from water. Trim it to size and apply to the doorjamb.
If you do not have the originals, take pictures of labels off a similar car and use software to reproduce them, then print them as outlined above.
It takes some effort, but it really does work. I've done it on my Camaro after replacing the door. Here is a picture of the results:
I created these stickers from scratch using Adobe Photoshop. The printable adhesive backed white vinyl they are printed on can be found at many online arts-and-crafts shops. The clear laminate is 3M Scotchguard paint protectant film.
I've showed these to folks in the past and been asked to make them for varios people. The labor involved in me doing it for folks is cost-prohibitive and I have no idea what laws it may violate reproducing the GM logos without consent from GM so you are on your own there.
Thank you very much guys,
and for the pictures too.
I am going to reproduce it.
Can anyone give me the exact labels sizes and if you can make me a picture from face (well centred and larger format) that will be very nice of you.
The stickers are 3 3/4" wide by 2 1/2" tall.
Wonder if you could send me a copy of the file if you can manage to make a template. I could edit the Vin to match my car. Also I was thinking to print these on my Kodak sub/dye printer since the photos are water prof. This is a super idea, thanks for posting the solution.
As has been stated... the driver's door stickers can be easily replaced if you have either the old stickers on a cut out panel or photos of them.
Check under your seats. Sometimes a wise body guy will place a cut out piece of fiberglass with the stickers on it under the seats.
You're only alternative is to attempt to get an ID printout of your vehicle at your local Chevrolet dealer's service department... then contact ECS.
FYI...
There is only one company with full authorization from GM to replicate the exact door stickers (VIN Certification Labels and Tire Pressure Labels) on your vehicle. That company is:

Here is something that was printed in the June 2010 Corvette Magazine. Might be worth a try to anyone needing the stickers replaced.
You can take your car to your local dealer, let them get the VIN from it, then have them contact the Area Regional Manager and have him or her contact the Troy print center to get the label.

Not true, I just had a new door installed on my car and the GM body shop ordered 2 new stickers for my door, They had to take pictures of the old door and the stickers and was able to get them .
I will get a couple pictures in the morning.
