Default Power Seat Switches?

I only ever used the long adjuster on the seat to move the seat foward or back, recently i discovered none of the other smaller switches on the seat work, at all, looking for advice on what to check the seat i assume those are to control the lumbar support, like i said none of them work, but the front to back adjuster the longer bigger rectangle switch works.

My passenger's side acted like this when I bought the car. Turns out there was a leak on the right window that dripped right on to the switch and killed those buttons. Had to replace the whole module, thankfully the place I bought it from paid for it. Was $125 or so for the module.

Can you hear the air pump running when you try to inflate the lumbar or bolsters?

If you get the sound when you press it (you would have to do it from outside, with your head down by the seat, its a quiet noise), then the baldders are gone.

You can get bladders from GM or some people have had good experience with using Obese Blood Pressure Cuffs (B/P cuff for fat people). They are cheap, and with very little work slip right in and works as well as the originals.

If you dont get the sound, the seat comes out with foru bolts, the plug may not be connected all the way?

I dont hear anything running, nothing happens at all with those switches. Ill double check again but i dont hear anything when i press them, are those switches on a different plug in perhaps? cause the front and back works just none of the lumbar adjustments.

I'd say it could be one of three things all of which are common problems

I'd start with the connector. Pull the connector and check the circuits with a multi meter. Select each function in turn and see if you have a voltage. If not, its an issue with the motors. If you do, then I'd turn to the bladders. There are a number of 90 degree pipe connectors in the system. They become brittle with age and can break allowing air to escape. New connectors should fix it. It's unusual for the bladders themselves to spring a leak. You can get to the bladders without taking the seat out. Unzip the covers around the seat back and it should give enough access to check.

Failing that as Texas Dave suggests it may be a switch issue. They are notoriously unreliable and many have drained batteries due to bad switches.

Have to say that if the seat is motoring but the other functions are bad I'd be thinking bladders.

Here's the connector info:

After leaving my car outside for two days in the rain I am now faced with this switch replacement procedure. (coincidence... i think not) Yaay for me. It seems fairly straight forward then again I'm not very adept at fixing cars. Anyone run into problems replacing the switch?

Question about step 2 of install - you need to replace the barrel clip? Anyone have a part number, are these easy to find online?
