If it clatters and goes away after the engine warms up - that is normal for many C5s.
Congrats on a nice looking car!
Ahhh good to know....not sure what normal is yet.

BTW - anything you need to know about her can be answered on this forum. There is nothing that hasn't been seen, tinkered with, modified, troubleshot, enhanced, or re-engineered! That's the other perk of owning a C5 Vette.
Enjoy her....
I'm in real trouble...Vettes and Harleys....I'll never stop spending
Give me a few months to recover from the initial cost and I'll be off and running. Have a few small things I'm already looking at.
Shift **** loose and "used dirty" so need one of those. And I was looking at the covers for the rear compartment behind the seat.
I'll do the little things while I get to know her then....watch out
Congrats! I'm sure with a 102K miles, you're going to need a few minor tweaks from a mechanic. However, the engine bay looks very clean. It appears to have been very well maintained!
Bought it from the original dealer...they had all service records.
Only real complaint I have is they said it was owned by a doctor....a doctor that smoked like a chimney! I'll be airing it out for a while....Febreeze is my friend right now.
--Front Air dam missing
--Front brakes need replaced (dealer I bought it from WILL be doing this)
--What looks like a small leak of oil either oil pan or rear seal they could not tell. Guess we will watch and see...
