Default DD Bezel?

It's been a while....so who all makes or modifies the radio bezels to accommodate a Pioneer AVIC unit?

And maybe someone who I can send in my existing one for a core refund?

Thanks,
Wes

I saw CaCorvetteCustom's posts after a search..

Unpainted primered double din bezel: $300*

Standard Black Textured double din bezel: $375*

Custom Painted double din bezel: $450*

Custom Painted Matching center console: $350*

******All custom painted bezels are out sourced to a professional paint shop for a prefect finish every time.********

*Price does not include $75 refundable core charge and shipping. Fabrication time is 4 to 6 weeks due to the volume of orders we have received.
Was kind of looking for something that I can get within the week..

Any good audio shop should be able to fab your bezel for you. But good luck finding an audio shop who can meet most of our expectations. My local shop took care of me, but I am neighbors with the manager. As mentioned before those listed above seem to have great reputations on the forum.

Try giving the two vendors above a call or e-mail them and see if they happen to have one in stock for immediate shipment. Can't hurt to ask.

Nothing is available for immediate ship I am afraid to say from me. All orders are done on a made to order basis. Once order is place i make them with or with out the ashtray and put your name on a list and when it becomes your turn

There is NO new bezels available for Ray and myself to get from GM.
The only option I have right now for new orders is to modify a bezel that is sent to me.

Because of the mess GM is in and the fact you would have to coordinate a time with me for sending I am running a special on them modified in black texture for 199.99 when you send me your bezel.

I have about 12 to start and get finished up then i can start on all orders for people who wnat to send a bezel to me.

IF there is a need for a radio I can still make this a package deal.
I will have the new Pioneer units tomorrow(hopefully)

PM me for more details or call me
608 778 1851

normal price when i can get them is 349.99 and up depending on finish. NO CORE CHARGE and get a refund of 100.00 if you were to send me back your old bezel.

Let me know If i can help
Sorry there is nothing ready to ship.

Dennis

PM me for more details.

Is GM ever going to build their inventory back up or are these just highly in demand?

GM will have these again. The problem is the company who supplies GM is not giving them any until GM can actually pay for the parts. There will be more info available on July 6th for the updated status on my 25 bezels I have back ordered.

Right now this is th ebest i have for answer for you

I have 8 core bezels on hand that are not built but that is it. We also are caught up on all of the orders we had in the Q, but I am on deployment in the Middle East right now and won’t be back to the states until the 20th of July so production has stopped to until them.

We are still accepting order on the basis that they cannot be filled until late August/Sept time frame we are working hard to find core bezels to build up stock.

As Dennis stated we also build to order we currently do not have any in stock. When I have time in-between order I do try to build up some stock but they sell as fast as I can build them. My advice is pick a vendor to order from and sit back and wait.

Or I'll just hold off on buying the AVIC and bezel altogether..

Don't really have time either..only 16 days of leave and then coming back to Italy to get ready to deploy again.

That sounds like a good plan I am about to get the Pioneer Z110BT head unit for my Z06 I am replacing the AVIC 90BT so I will be building myslef a new bezel with a intergrated IPOD dock in it.

We will be up and running building bezels again here in a few weeks so just let us know when you are ready.

Was wondering the same thing. I don't know if I'm going to go with the AVIC yet. Purchasing the Z06 wiped me out for a little while. LOL

I have a lot of things I want to do so I don't know what the priority is going to be. Either way, I'm not going to give up my core. If for any reason I want to put the car back to stock, I need my core.

Hey CJ

Yours is in the finishing stages right now It should be out the door Monday or Tuesday at the absolute latest.
I am again sorry for the delay on the bezels coming in. I am doing my best to get more daily to get the orders filled.

Hopefully the news on TV today about the GM situation will help out the parts upply and end this mess for everyone.

I appreciate you and everyone else understanding the problem of getting these to modify. Its nice to know evryone can understand the backorder issue with these and my problems I have been dealing with. Corvette owners again prove to be the best and most understanding people in the car crazy world we are apart of.
