I have noticed this too. I've had a few tail gate real close. One person even tried to sideswipe me after being on my butt in stop and go creep traffic. I did want to go after this last person, but did not. impulse control, some days i'm glad I have it. I have a C5, I love it, but its just a car.

ive only had my vette about a month an noticed this also.
accelerating from a light the other day, a guy flew past be after i got to my cruising speed, and then got in front of me and slammed on his brakes a few times trying to make me wreck or something.. at the next light I dropped my window pissed and he did as well and was like " oh becuase you got a vette you think you can take off fast" or some **** like that then turned right
i didnt make a big deal about it bc i was running late for diner plans tho

On the way to town tonight I saw a POS beat-up Mustang(looked to be a 4 banger) fly up the fast lane and slow down next to me. I thought "Here we go." I looked over a a teenager gave the 'lets run' hand gesture. I smiled and but shook my head. Luckily he gave me a wave anyway and slowly accelerated. That was a first.
On the way home, a yellow C6 was going the other way and he gave me a headlight flash and a wave. Sometimes you just need to brush off the idiots and enjoy the ride!

I have a corner lot & I've noticed that if I have the car setting out in the drive.Dumb a$$es will gun the snot out of their engines when they go by on the side street,

It is normal... same thing happens when an exceptional girl walks through the gym... all the guys double their weights and reps and start doing pose-downs... as soon as they pass through, back to light weights and belching out loud. 
End result, occasional pulled muscles and none of the girls are impressed.
