So tomorrow morning they are coming to pick up my C5 with a rollback and although they have assured me they do corvettes and cars even lower with no problems I am still a little apprehensive.
Mostly I am concerned about how they will strap it down. Where should and should it not be strapped down? What should i be on the look out for?

I'm sure they will strap it down. However, since YOU are paying for their services, you call the shots. Make sure they do exactly what you want.

Good luck!

That's the thing, I don't know what I want besides no damage. Any other car I would tell the guy to hook a chain to whatever looked sturdy and crank it down. Trying to find out where on the Vette it is safe to strap to and where it is not so I know what to look for.
Be careful when they pull it up on the flatbed, wish I had the bra on it,even though they used a board to help the underside of the nose it got scraped!! and that was after I bought it and they delivered it to me! I was at work and my husband didn't notice it! so I couldn't complain I just touched it up. Now it is lowered I will be a basket case if it ever has to be flatbedded again.
Had to have mine flat bedded after I was hit. Guy used a 2x4 at first, then two 2x6's, then three 2x6's stacked so my front end didn't scrape. You might want to make a trip to home depot and cut them up about 2 feet long each, worked great. When I had to have my bro's S2k done, our buddy who owns a large towing service brought out his new truck that strapped under each wheel and lifter striaght up with a small crane, then placed it on the flatbed. Said he bought it for exotics (ferrari's, lambo's, etc). Pretty cool way to lift a car. Wish I had a pic for you!
When strapping down, then just placed some chains in the frame rail areas and pulled the car back with a ratcheting strap. Car was secure as I followed him to the body shop!
I would think they would have fixtures on the end of their tow cable(2) that would attach in the slots where your lifting pucks go. Once on the trailer, they cold use all 4 slots to hold the car in position. I'm not sure of all this, however. I've never had mine trailered or flat bedded. I'd be a nearvous wreck. What makes matters worse I'm lowered down quite a bit. Good luck and hope all goes well.
Be careful using the hockey puck slots as they are riveted doublers on the frame rail.Had an incompetent operator yank mine out of the frame and then I had to have them replaced. They paid for the repair. Good luck and get boards ready you will need them.
