I fixed mine for under $5....I did both sides
awesome easy fix...sure it takes a couple hours but its a good excuse to clean the carpet under the seats good and you will find enough change to pay for the fix.

I used those same directions and it worked out well.I can't remember which vendor it is, but they sell the washer set. That comes in handy so you don't have to shaved down the washers from Ace hardware.

yeah but NFW I would pay that much for some nylon washers....it took me less than 5 min with a piece of sandpaper to get them all set to go.

hmm... that sounds kinda relaxing. How do i make my seats rock? Just snap on the cruise control and gets to rockin. The ruts in the road are so bad around here that the car just follows the road. Close the eyes for 10 or 15 and wake up just in time for the exit off the highway. 
Anyways OP. I had the Rockin Drivers seat and the link posted in this thread makes the job easy. Avoid the over priced fix cause the Ace washers did the job for chump change. I was using sand paper but found the concrete worked better then used the sand paper to smooth it out.
The fix is just another reason I love this place, except for dipsticks like Poopchute.
