I'm looking at a '98 and noticed the left headlight door does not close all the way. It's up about 1/4'' while right side door is closed. What's the fix?
the top of the headlights are adjustable. open the headlight using the manual adjuster and remove the plastic side bezel (3 phillips screws) then remove the 4 T-15 torx scrwes which hole on the top cover. you will see under it 4 beigh colored rubberized bumpers which T-15 torx screws inside. screw them in (clockwise) to lower the bumpers and the headlight door cover will sit lower. just take your time and make find adjustments and eventually you can get them perfect.
you can also adjust the left/right front/back position of the headlight door from here, but that's more finicky and hard to get right. again you loosen up a few T-15's and you can slide the whole fiberglass mount piece around some.
