Default Replacement windshield advice needed.

Was out tonight and had a stone damage the windshield on my 2002 EB coupe. Is there a right or wrong way to go for the replacement? What should I look for in a repair shop? I have HUD and understand that it's best to get a HUD windshield and use new seals.

Any recommendations on a shop in SE MI?

First, check with your insurance as most insurance companies, by state laws, must offer free windshield repair/replacement.

If you choose to have it replaced, just make sure it is a genuine GM replacement.

Default Mine was cracked the shop replaced the surround too

Insurance (comprehensive) replaced mine on the vert for no out of pocket. Got genuine GM plus the surround which mates with the vert top. If you have HID get the genuine windshield and make sure they KNOW what they are doing. Mine took over an hour. Read every magazine in there and took a walk. BIGHANK
