Removing VHT from tail lights

My tail lights have been tinted with VHT and while I liked it for a bit I find my self wanting to go back to stock. Is there a way to remove VHT from tail lights or do I just need to buy new ones? I have been considering the Black Cherry lights but that may be a few months away.

I had them on my previous car, take a little bit of laquer thinner to it, then polish the hazing out if it does.

Seems like you could just pick up a second set of lenses/lights (even used) and then you could go back and forth. Or someone who wants tinted lights might swap with you?

Do you have all 5 lites tinted? How dark is the tint, do you have any pics in daylight with lites on/and or brake lites lit up?

I live in Phoenix and have an extra set of the 4 round lites, maybe we could meet 1/2 way & switch out the 3rd lite if it is tinted. Let me know what you think.

Wet sand with 2000 grit and then polish.

Or, you can just let the VHT wear off on it's own. It's not a permanent tint.
