Cabin Filter

Where is the cabin filter in a 99 coupe? Also where is the fresh air inlet?

There is no cabin filter on the C5 - there is on the C6. The fresh air inlets are on the cowl below the windshield wipers.

There is an evaporator filter inside the heater box under your dash that can be changed. The filter is cheap, but takes time to R/R.

The fresh air enters your car at the base of the windshield.

Thanks for the info. I am doing this for a friend. He had mice in has car over the winter and he has a bad odor he is trying to get rid of.

I helped a guy do this, but he used his GM Service manual to guide him. Buy a set of manuals online then dive in!
