I like the two outlets instead of the factory 4 .(2 each side)
I like Borla .
Do I need to go all the way to the engine and get headers for more hp ?
How much for a full header to exhaust tip set up ?

A catback exhaust will give you better sound, but negligible HP gains. If you want more power, then yes, you need to add long tube headers to the car. A good set of headers with high flow cats and x-pipe will vary in cost depending on the manufacturer - expect anywhere from around $1K up to $1700 - install is extra. If you can't do it yourself, then your're probably looking at around $400 for the install.

I know you said you like Borla - and that you said you want two tips but we have a SMOKIN' HOT deal on the GHL system....

$899 shipped on a great system that won't drone like the Borla system does, and is a fully polished system is hard to pass up! Give me a call and I'd be happy to talk with you about it.

I'm leaning toward the corsa extreme with the 4 tips together / no space in between
Does it matter if I start from the mufflers to the headers ?
That's what I did. It didn't net me any power gains until I installed the headers. Also, remember that it will be a good deal louder once you install headers and high-flow cats.
BTW, another recommendation for the GHL systems. They have the classic deep tone.
I had the Borla quads installed at Carlisle in 05. System and install for $900. That same year I went the ZO6 airbox and K&N. Last year I took it to E.C.S. and did the VaraRam, Headers, Cats, therm, and the computer done. LOVE THE RESULTS like I can't even tell ya.
Will not be close to the killer deal Randy has on the Bullets, but if you like the quad 4 in a row, and the deep muscle car sound with no drone, we'll have the set for you in a month...
