Thanks TX for your service and sacrifice. I am a proud Army vet myself, but I was fortunate enough to never have to go into a hot zone during my 3 years of active duty.

I've lost many friends in the course of my time in the Service
I retire shortly but it wasn't made easier by the loss of a good friend just a month ago when his aircraft hit a hillside in Scotland. Just a training accident and it didn't hit the news. It was overshadowed by the cruel losses were seeing in AFG right now. Even so he died in the service of his Country
I know how you feel and I salute your friend and colleague
