Mine does too, ever so slowly.
I've taken it apart thinking there was a tension screw or something - but there isn't - it's just a press-fit plastic knuckle - no way of tightening it up that I can see.
I don't know about the C5's, but I had the same problem on my 96 C4. Every bump I hit, the mirror would fall down. I found that the phillips screw that attached the mirror bracket to the car had vibrated loose. All that I did was tighten it up. The mirror hasn't moved since.(about 2 years now) If that doesn't work, just adjust the mirror where you want it and superglue it.
I have the same problem, it seems to be a common problem. You might could do a search and find some ways to fix it. Good Luck, I gotta do mine but havent got a chance to get to it yet.
Yup, same problem here. Actually today on the way to work I noticed it really loose and then noticed it completely slides off the piece on the window. It looks like it needs the screw tightened. It was loose when I first picked the car up two years ago though too so probably will be a bit loose even after tightening the screw.
