Had the same problem about two years ago and I think the dealer price was somewhere around 3 grand. That's not exact but I'm sure it's in the ballpark.
Check out some stickies in tech,,I'm going through it right now,,there are a lot of less expensive possibilities to check out first. Wheel sensor connections,battery/voltage/connection problems, ground problems to name a few. Bill Curlee and Bill Dearborne are two guys that know a lot about this stuff.
I have heard good things about these guys. As a matter of fact, I am in the same boat. My ABS, Traction Control and Active Handling are showing codes everytime I start the car now.

you could be lucky and just need to clean the grounds, or connections..or you could be very unlucky and need I believe what is called the ECBM electronic control break modulator..that is what failed on mine and cost about 2800 to fix, luckily I was still under OEM warranty and it was covered.
The AH/TCS system is complex. There are 3 major components, the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM), the Brake Modulator Pressure Valve (BPMV) and the wheel sensors. There are also a few sensors that feed in which can fail (steering wheel and yaw sensors). Finally, as mentioned, the battery, bad connections and poor grounds can all cause problems.
If you search for trussme's description of the system you'll see all you need to know.
Once you post up the codes it'll be easier to work out where the problem is.
DIC indicates that I've lost Active Handling and
ABS.
What's cost of fixing the AH? ABS?
Thanks.
A Tech2 can help you narrow down the problem to either a mechanical or electrical problem.
I would pull the codes and post them up.
I've got the same message on my DIC and so does my brother because we pulled the suspension apart and the car is so far out of alignment that the sensor on the steering column is not reading the voltage correctly and thinks something is wrong.
My AH system was kicking in very frequently when not needed, and then I got the needs service from DIC.
No mention of ABS.
What if I just turn off the Active Handling???
Thanks!
I also had the same issues and I took it to get aligned (cheapest option to start with) and sure enough some of the alignment points somehow lost their torque and come loose and when I step on the brakes it through the computer wacky and I almost wrecked it once. The alignment fixed all my issues luckily.
