Ok, so I hear it is relatively easy to lower a C5 corvette; essentially that it involves simply tightening or loosening 4 bolts followed by driving, adjusting and aligning again etc. I want to lower my whole car about an inch around. Do any of you know where I can find full instructions, or how to do this? I have a hydralic jack and jack stands.

And whatever you do, be SURE to get it re-aligned after you do it...unless you just like buying tires.
Don't ask me how I know.
Also, you'll also read or hear about "cutting bushings" and "lowering bolts". These are methods to lower your car further than you can on the stock bolts. You may find that you want to go to this extreme, but I recommend you just go with the stock bolts to start with and drive it around some. You'll find that you scrape on speed bumps and that you have to be VERY careful when going in some streets and driveways. For me, the stock bolt method was as far as I want to go. I have no idea how the people who have slammed theirs even lower manage to drive their cars around without ripping the front off.
Oh and BTW, it WILL look like a 4x4 when you take it down off the jack stands. Don't panic. It will come back down after a run around the block.
Oh and before you start, you might want to take a look at the proper way to lift a C5 too....
Thanks everyone. I just got 19" rims with 30 series tires. (275 front and 305) back. Its already a huge improvement in handling, but I needed to close up some of the gap between the tires and fenders, and add the nice look of lowering and hopefully a little extra handling in the process.
