Still hard for me to decide which one looks better. Only thing about the 20s on the back is that I don't know if it'll look like too much wheel or not. The 19s on the back sort of looks a bit small though even though its an inch difference. I plan on going with a wider tire for which ever size I choose. I know it's been asked alot on here before, but what are the widest tires I can fit on the front and back without it stickin out/rubbing? All the help and the pics are appreciated.

I LOVE how my 19/20 combo looks on the car and get compliments all the time on the car and the wheels. I really didnt notice a big difference in ride quality after installing these and after getting coil overs i just adjust to how i want it. I can make it feel softer then it did stock or nice and harsh for a little canyon carving. Again its what you like its your car but I dont think you'll b sorry with the 19/20 combo.

There is no way you didnt notice a difference in ride quality unless you just werent paying attention. I had the same setup as you but powdercoated black which are actually lighter then your chrome and I noticed a huge difference in ride quality when I switched to the 18in CCW classics and also the 19in SP500s. Also the car felt slower with the heavier wheels.

If you go with a 20in setup you will be sacrificing ride quality and performance no matter how you look at it. There is always a tradeoff between looks and performance.

Hey guys I am trying to also make a decision which route to go with rims and tires and your opinions and pics are mcuh appreicated. When you guys say fatter tires in the back do you mean a higher sidewall or a wider tire? Has anybody stayed with the stock size and look and just chromeplated the rim?

You don't actually change the radius of the tire when changing rims, because that would upset all sorts of things. I'm sure they are referring to the width of the tire, e.g. going from 285 to 305.

Hey Z28STYLE23 where did you purchase those rims. Are those the chrome z06 motorsports with rivets? I didnt know thay make them that big. I think looking at your wheels and all the others I am leaning towards those but with a 19/19 f/r/combo. Do you guys have any suggestions on which brand tires and size I should go with if I do decide to go with the same wheels in 19/19 as Z28STYLE23's?

B.t.w. cherzra your wheel tire combo is hot too. How did it look before you lowered the car? Did you already have the car lowered before you put the rims on? Thats a problem I have I cannot lower my car anymore then it is cause I cannot get up my driveway it is to steep and I scrape. I noticed most of you with the big tire/wheel have your cars dropped which looks awesome. I wish I could drop mine.

Thanks for the comlpiment

I can't get into my garage either I need to make a ramp from pieces of wood every time I drive in and out. It's annoying, but hey... style is everything. My car is on coilovers instead of springs, and it's literally two inches from the ground. I don't drive it anywhere except for some highway routes, as it is just too impractical to take anywhere else.

I've decided that the 18/19 setup is best. Thanks for all the help everyone. Now I just need to know one more thing. What are the widest tires I can run in the back without them sticking out, rubbing, or having to remove the brake ducts and what are the best size front tires to match those back tires? Thanks for all the help.

I am running 275/30/19 fronts and 305/30/19 rears by Pirrelli and they are the best tires I have ever owned. They fit flush and ducts are still in. I would highly reccomend going with 19s front and back rather then 18s in the front. You will regret going with 18s in the front. Unless you find an awesome deal on a used set with 18/19s. I had that 18/19 setup before with CCW SP500s and my dad had CCW 505s 19/19 and even though mine looked great his looked a lot better. If you do go with 18 fronts I would run a 275/35 or 30/18. Also run 19x11 rears with 18 or 19x9.5 or 10 fronts. I am running 19x10 fronts with 19x11 rears. I will post pics of my new setup tomorrow.

Oh yeah....as far as tires go if you are buying new the only tires I would go with are the Nitto Invos. They are really cheap and some of the best performing tires out.

yes these are the 19/20 chrome z06 motorsports with rivets. I got them from West Coast Corvette. Only thing i dont like bout the 20" in back is the limited tires available for that size 305/25/20.
