Default Traction control question

Can you turn traction control on or off while moving or do you have to be stopped?

Is it 2000 and later that you can be moving, and not so for previous? Why don't you just try it while moving and see what happens?

Maybe a stupid question, do you get better gas mileage if you turn traction control off? Is it better to drive on the interstate with Traction control off? I haven't read that far in the manual yet.

Traction control is transparent to you till it senses loss of TRACTION. Under NORMAL driving conditions you should leave it ON. Has 0 effect on MPG since it's not doing anything 99.9999% of the timie.

The competitive mode is the only thing you have to be stopped for and thats in 2000 and earlier I think but 1999 for sure. Traction control is on and off at will. Leave it on unless you want to do a burnout and keep in mind when the traction control is off the active handling is off also.
