I have one as well. It is ok. I dont seem to hear the noise reduction as much as others talk about. It does heat and cool faster with it in though. is it worth it...ehhh.. its ok. Not sure if I would buy it again though.

Put in a foam partition. Relatively inexpensive mod. Definitely cut down on road/tire and exhaust noise. I also think it dressed up the passenger compartment and looks like it came from the factory.

Just got mine today from Southern Car Parts. Intalled it after work, took the car for a short drive, and boy what a difference! I can actually here the whine from each gear in the trans. Exhaust noise is cut way down. Love it! This should have been included from the factory.

I guess I'm the odd man out.

I like having the open area to toss anything (misc) back there especially on a road trip.

Noise? My car isn't that bad, and my wife? She wouldn't know the difference anyway.

Love mine and the sound system sounds better with it in.

A/C responds better with the partition as well.

When I first got the car, I tried playing with that speed sensitive volume setting on the stock radio. I noticed no difference, as the car couldn't detect any noise differences. I put the partition, compartment covers, and Lloyds mat in and forgot all about that setting. I had the windows tinted yesterday, and the installer must have bumped the SCV dial. As I'm driving home, I hear the radio volume go up and down as I drive, so I guess the radio could actually detect noise variations to trigger the SCV function.

Regardless, this is a great mod. The partition can be easily installed and removed, and the benefits are immediately noticeable.
