if not is anyone interested in adding them here?
I am interested in mods that take <2 hours and cost <50$ whether they add to looks or driveability or just preventive maintenance to get your hands dirty and sip some cold beer in the garage.
to start off:
1. clutch and brake fluid replacement the Ranger method.
2. Swapping tired bulbs - makes a lot of difference in driving.
3. Anti-Venom Mod.

This is only noticeable if you are at stock ride height....
add lowering it to the list, blacking out your lights, painting the rear fascia black, hood seal, tail light seals, removing BSM, shortened antenna, etc...
Take $50 and go fill up your gas tank and put the rest back in your wallet. Then go drive your Z06 on public roads (going to the once a month car show does not count) for up to 2 hours, repeat if necessary. You might try using the skinny pedal every once in a while when you are doing this, it is the one on the right. This can even be enjoyed with a friend and should be done regardless of the weather conditions. Enjoy!

Got that one done. I bought my Z on July 8, and I've put over 2500 miles on her since. I daily drive my beauty.
lol, I have never had anyone point out the condition of my wheel wells in any car I have ever had. You pretty much have to get real close and crouch to see...
how bout cutting down the shift lever, much cheaper than doing a new shifter.
Why would you do that? Hate to burst your bubble but A short throw shifter is not a shorter shifter handle. By cutting your stock shifter handle you are actually icreasing your thwo length and making it harder to shift.

You're right, your opinion trumps mine.
Many people don't point out flaws in others cars. I know I wouldn't unless someone asked me to. I do however notice minor details like that. Little details are what take a care from "nice ride." to "Damnnnnn, that's phat."
You said "only stock ride height". Most people don't cut/remove their front bolts and swap the rear bolts. In any event... my car is lowered on stock bolts and I can clearly see the wheel wells with stock Z06-sized wheels/tires.
TB coolant bypass. $5 Most people say it doesn't make a performance increase, but it will satisfy your urge to tinker for a few minutes.
Hood seal $12. They claim it causes better airflow to the air filter and and hence more power but that is likely BS. It does seem to cut down a little on dust in the engine compartment.
Lower temp Thermostat. $35 - $50. This will really make you think you're doing something special to your engine. No likely benefit unless you lower cooling fan temps a little, and then still debatable.
Engine oil friction reducing additive (snake oil). $10-$50. You'll swear your engine runs smoother and has an additional 50hp, but a dyno will strongly disagree.
New high performance sparkplug wires. $40+. People who have done this swear it doubles the engines hp output; again a dyno will show no improvement.
Port your stock TB. DIY or have it done for $100. This will actually increase power by 2-3hp on a stock car, and 7-8hp on a car with an aftermarket air filter and headers per LPE (They have no reason to lie about this).
