Yes, you are right on the refrigerant. There should be a label under the hood which states that.

I re-charged my system about a month ago with the R134 and its working great.
My only suggestion would be to NOT use any of the R134 with stop leak. I have been told it makes more problems than it fixes. If there is a bad leak in the system it should be fixed. Mine just needed a charge (10 year old freon).
