Side molding Question?

Side molding Question?

Ok guys, heres the deal, i took my side molding off and cleaned the area well, but there is an outline, kinda looks like to different colors. Could my door been repainted? Or am i doing something wrong on cleaning it?

Paint fade maybe?

I want to take them off my speedway white car but I'm afraid of the same issue.

I guess ill end up putting them back on, atleast i only did one side.

What did you clean it with? From the pics it looks like residue, try clay bar then Zaino!

the clay bar is amazing at what it removes and it sure looks like a reside outline rather than a difference in color...and Zaino is awesome...

I don't think that nine years of it being on the car side that you'd get a sun caused dark spot. I'd get a clay bar and consult some of these Zaino experts here. Zanio is without a doubt the very best paint saving/finishing formula and one of their product will surely bring back you silver finish. Good Luck !
