Assuming you are stock(or close to it) Delco Iridium, gaped at .040,,you can't go wrong!! Aset of GM performance red wires would be a good investment to go along with them!! Gene Culley forum member/vendor would be a good source. Delco Iridiums perform well and last. They really made my 55k motor wake up!!The original plugs were gaped all over the place. You don't really realize that it is not performing all that well TILL you put a fresh properly gaped set in!!

Thanks for the referral. Many people have purchased the GM Performance Parts wires from me and the AC Delco Iridium Plugs. I would be happy to help you out.

NGK TR-55s for me but the AC Delco iridiums get good press here

I'd recommend you replace the plug wires at the same time. The wires are difficult to get off and if you damage one you'll be worse off than when you bagan. I destroyed 3 wires trying to unseat them.

GMPP Reds are great and the price is good

I have the NGK TR55IX (iridium's) in mine (runs good). I will say that I broke a plug wire when changing them (I really thought I wouldn't!), and had to order new ones. Got the GMPP ones from Gene.

If I had it to do over, I'd just get the AC Delco Iridiums and GMPP red wires from Gene to start with...

When I changed mine, I went with AC Delco Iridiums. Got them from Gene at www.gmpartshouse.com.
